More...The Mid Atlantic Football Foundation is proud to announce the upcoming Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase . This is an invitation only event for 2014, 2015 and 2016 prospects. Players will be coached by former NFL and college players, college coaches and top area high school coaches committed to the development of each participant.
The Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase will provide it’s participants with an opportunity to be evaluated by analysts from Rivals.com including National Football Analyst Mike Farrell. In addition, 2014 prospects can earn an invite to the 2013 Chesapeake Bowl.
Rivals.com has been the nation leader with online recruiting, evaluation and exposure for high school football prospects. Mike Farrell is recognized as one of the true experts in the field of high school football recruiting and serves as a consultant and advisor for the Chesapeake Bowl as well as the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
The Chesapeake Bowl is the premiere event of the Mid Atlantic Football Foundation. It is a senior only all-star football game with players from the North (New Jersey,PennsylvaniaandDelaware) competing against players from the South (Maryland,WashingtonD.C., Virginia andWest Virginia). In the first two years of the game we have had over 170 players with D1 offers and over 150 players ranked by national recruiting services. Our goal with the Chesapeake Bowl is to provide its players and coaches with a unique experience for the high school level. The players and coaches of the Chesapeake Bowl will be hosted over a four day period with activities and practices leading up to the game to provide a true “bowl” like atmosphere.
We are excited to open this year’s showcase to underclassmen (class of 2015 and 2016). These players will have an opportunity to be evaluated by Rivals.com for early exposure and recognition in the 2015 and 2016 classes. They will also be able to receive an early invitation to next year’s Chesapeake Bowl Selection Camp.
The cost for this camp is 75.00 .
LANDOVER — — As the final seconds ticked off the scoreboard at Marvin F. Wilson Stadium late Saturday afternoon, the high school careers of nine Baltimore-area football players officially came to an end.
Though the local players' South squad suffered a 38-13 loss to the North in the third annual Chesapeake Bowl, the result didn't dampen the collective enthusiasm they had for participating in the East Coast all-star game.
