2013 Maryland Crab Bowl to be played at McDaniel

The Mid Atlantic Football Foundation (MAFF) is pleased to announce the 6th Annual Maryland Army National Guard Crab Bowl Powered by Under Armour, December 21st , 2013 at 1:00 pm, at McDaniel College. The Crab Bowl is in its 6th year and has alumni that include Tavon Austin (WVU/ St. Louis Rams), Jelani Jenkins (Florida, Miami Dolphins), 5 other NFL players, and over 450 college football players. Rivals, Scout and 247 Sports considered the Crab Bowl the top in-state all-star game in the country. 

“We are excited to produce the Crab Bowl again this year,” said Sean O’Connor, MAFF’s Director of Business Operations and 1999 graduate of McDaniel formerly Western Maryland College, “because just not only a great venue but a special place for me and my famliy.  The Crab Bowl represents this great state for college football well, and our game provides exposure for the state’s best talent for some of this country’s best institutions of higher learning to see these young men compete.”

This year are also including a 6th, 7th and 8th grade all-star game to the Crab Bowl events. Gates will open at 8 am and tailgating will be available all day.

Defense leads Baltimore to 28-7 win over Washington in 5th Crab Bowl

LANDOVER — — Both Baltimore and Washington had plenty of scoring chances in the fifth annual Crab Bowl. The difference is what they did with them.

Stephen Scott (Poly), Garrett Bean (Westminster) and Michael Anderson (Howard) all ran for touchdowns, and Harford Tech's Isaiah Gills caught a long touchdown pass that helped Baltimore to a 28-7 victory over Washington in the senior all-star game played at the Marvin F. Wilson Stadium at the Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex.
